My name is Teresa Shafer, and I’m a full-time notary public, trust delivery agent, and notary signing agent. Over the past four years, I’ve proudly served more than 1,300 clients, delivering reliable, confidential, and convenient notarial services.
I’ve lived and worked in the Charlottesville area for over a decade, bringing deep local knowledge and a commitment to my community. Prior to launching my notary career, I spent 10 years as a paralegal in both Virginia and Nebraska, gaining valuable experience that continues to inform my work today.
My husband, a proud retiree of the U.S. Air Force and the Department of Defense, and I have lived in seven states over the past 30 years. Now, with our two grown sons thriving, we’re grateful to call Central Virginia our forever home.
